The Call of Duty: Black Ops III PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions feature Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay only, but do not include a co-op or single-player campaign game mode. The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player co-op Campaign design of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware.

1. What's included in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III versions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III feature Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay only, but do not include a co-op or single-player campaign game mode. This PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also includes a bonus digital full game download for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, the game that started the series.

2. Does the Multiplayer on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions feature the new Specialists like the next gen version?

Yes, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players can experience a new level of Multiplayer gameplay in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, including the new momentum-based, chain-movement system as well as the all-new Specialist class of nine Black Ops soldiers, which fundamentally change the way players engage in combat.

3. How about Zombies, do the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions include Shadows of Evil?

Yes, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also feature Shadows of Evil, the all-new Zombies mode of play in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Shadows of Evil delivers an all-new Zombies storyline based on a 1940's film-noir setting that takes the signature Black Ops Zombies gameplay to new heights.

4. Is split screen available on all platforms?

The split screen feature is only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

5. Does Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 include any additional bonus content?

Yes, Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 includes a bonus digital full game download for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, the game that started the Black Ops series. Availability of the bonus digital full game download may vary worldwide (not available in Japan).

Digital purchasers will receive the original Call of Duty: Black Ops as an instant download at the time of purchase. Those who purchase at retail will receive the original Call of Duty: Black Ops full game digital download through an in-game voucher. An Internet connection is required for download and installation.

6. How much will Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 cost?

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III featuring Multiplayer, Zombies and a bonus digital full game download for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops will be available for a suggested retail price of $49.99.

7. What other features differ in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III?

Game performance and features vary by platform. Features built to leverage the next generation hardware like Weapon Paint Shop, Gunsmith, and the new suite of eSports tools, including CODCasting, Arenas, and Theater are only available in Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Modes such as Black Market, Dead Ops, and Nightmares are only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Furthermore, split screen, character and weapon customization, and emblem editor are only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

8. How many frames per second (FPS) will the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version play?

The Multiplayer mode on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will scale between 30 to 60 FPS, while the frame rate in Zombies mode is 30 FPS.

9. What are the console storage requirements for Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?

PlayStation 3 users will need 16 GB of storage space to download Call of Duty: Black Ops III update, which includes 8 GB for the initial download and 8 GB for installation. Upon installation, the game will require 8 GB of storage space on PlayStation 3. The PlayStation 3 version of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops requires 20 GB of space for download and 20 GB of space for installation. Once it has been installed, the original Call of Duty: Black Ops will only use 20 GB of space on PlayStation 3.

Xbox 360 users will need 8 GB of space for download and installation. In order to download the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, PlayStation 3 users must have 40 GB of available storage space. To download the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, Xbox 360 users will only need 7 GB of storage space.

10. How long will Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 include the original Call of Duty: Black Ops as a bonus download?

Availability of the bonus download of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops included in physical disc copies and digital downloads of Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is limited to while supplies last, and will expire on physical disc copies by May 6, 2020.

11. On which platforms is the Season Pass available?

Season Pass is only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Availability of individual DLC packs for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 may vary. More information will be announced at a later date.

12. Is the new Fracture game mode available on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360?

No, Fracture is only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Awakening DLC

1. With the release of the Awakening DLC map pack on PlayStation 3, will there also be a Season Pass available?

No, Season Pass is not available for PlayStation 3. The only way to purchase Awakening will be through a standalone purchase.

2. How much does the Awakening DLC map pack cost on PlayStation 3?

Awakening on PlayStation 3 will be available for a suggested retail price of $14.99.

3. Will any future DLC map packs come out for PlayStation 3?

We do not have plans for any DLC to follow Awakening on PlayStation 3.

4. Is this the end of Zombies content on PlayStation 3, with no continuation of the story?

Yes, there are no plans for future DLC content on PlayStation 3.
